For our Luxury Fragrance Grouping with the brands Tom Ford Beauty, Balmain Paris, Jo Malone London, Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle, Le Labo, and Kilian Paris, we are looking for a Brand Director (m / f / d) DACH, who will be responsible for the continuous development and optimization of the brands for the DACH Region.
Your responsibilities :
- Define, drive, and execute the brand strategy for the DACH Affiliate, adapting from the EMEA / Global strategy.
- Be accountable for reaching the key brand rankings and market share objectives.
- Develop marketing and sales strategies to maximize sell-through according to market demand.
- Define the Brand Go-to-Market strategy across all channels.
- Be accountable for the brand consensus demand plan (12 rolling months) and ensure complete and accurate sales drivers.
- Monitor the implementation of brand identity tools.
- Ensure operational effectiveness and strong collaboration with partners.
- Lead collaboration between the brand team, commercial team, and digital commerce and marketing team to deliver the brand strategy with a focus on excellence in execution.
- Foster strong relationships with retailers and internally, particularly with the Education department and extended teams, to ensure smooth operations, support future brand growth, and implement an ideal consumer journey locally.
- Support the Commercial Department in sell-in and sell-out activities and build strong relationships with local retailers.
- Drive talent growth and development by providing leadership, guidance, and management.
- Motivate the team to deliver best-in-class business results.
Qualifications
- Over 8 years of professional experience in marketing within a global company, preferably in luxury, cosmetics, or FMCG industry.
- At least 5 years of management experience focusing on managing, coaching, and developing employees.
- Successfully completed business studies with a focus on marketing, economics, or similar.
- Experience in all areas of brand management (trade, product, consumer marketing, and merchandising), ideally in retail / counter management.
- Experience working in a complex, internationally operating company.
- Very good understanding of the industry and a strong network of distributors, retailers, advertising agencies, and other business partners.
- Experience in digital, social, and traditional media.
- Very good German and English language skills.
