A leading psychological organization is looking for a Book Content Coordinator. This remote position involves researching publishers, negotiating electronic files, and evaluating books for coverage. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field, alongside experience with book literature in behavioral sciences. Note: APA operates on a 37.5-hour work week with one-hour lunch breaks each day. APA sets salaries based on several considerations, including years of relevant experience, level of education, and previous staff and/or governance experience at APA.
The Book Content Coordinator seeks out new books for APA's discovery solutions. This role researches publishers and negotiates the receipt of complimentary electronic files with publicists or licensing agents. The Book Content Coordinator decides which books are appropriate for coverage. This position also functions as the primary researcher for new coverage areas for the Content Development team.
