Are you the person we are looking for?

Our Engineering Services team seeks a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with recent experience in Software Development and cross-functional project management, especially related to product release management. You will demonstrate your technical skills by assembling and re-flashing custom hardware, reproducing issues, collecting logs, debugging, and testing fixes and features. Your project management skills will be shown through planning software releases, responding swiftly to customer requests, gathering and documenting requirements, and managing project schedules and content delivery. Recent software development experience, ideally in the Embedded and RTOS Market, is essential to direct, manage, and coordinate complex projects within budget, schedule, and contractual limits, ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will :

• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Optimize resource utilization, managing budgets effectively.
• Gather and analyze project data, including budgets, timelines, contracts, and technical details.
• Create detailed project schedules for complex initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
• Assign work packages to responsible teams or external contractors, ensuring understanding and commitment.
• Contribute to drafting contracts for external contractors (asset).
• Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules, and resolve issues proactively.
• Interface with developers, leaders, contractors, and external stakeholders for technical and progress updates.
• Coordinate with internal departments like Finance, Marketing, and Sales, as well as external clients and contractors.

You will have the following skills & experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in technical program/project management or as a Software Developer with extensive experience in C, C++, Java, or similar, including customer interactions.
• Technical supervisory experience with teams or projects.
• Knowledge of UNIX-based operating systems.
• Skills in project planning, management, decision-making, and problem-solving.
• Understanding of technical procedures and contractual processes.
• Strong leadership, innovation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience managing software implementation projects in an AGILE environment.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with varying timelines.
• Software development experience in the Embedded and RTOS Market.

Additional experience with any of the following is a plus but not essential:

• Managing commercial implementation projects in the Embedded and RTOS Market.
• Direct experience with QNX.
• Implementing compliance with standards like ISO 9001, SEI-CMMI, IEC 61508, IEC 62304, SPICE ISO/IEC 15504, Common Criteria ISO 15408, ISO 26262.
