Are you the person we are looking for?

Our Engineering Services team seeks a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with recent experience in Software Development and cross-functional project management, especially product release management. You will demonstrate your technical skills by assembling and re-flashing custom hardware, reproducing issues, collecting logs, debugging, and testing fixes and features. Your project management skills will be shown through planning software releases, responding to customer requests, gathering and documenting customer requirements, and managing project schedules and delivery.

You should have recent software development experience (preferably in Embedded and RTOS markets) to lead, manage, and coordinate major or complex projects within budget, schedule, and contractual limits, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with cross-functional, global teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Planning and optimizing resource use, managing budgets.
• Gathering required data, including budgets, schedules, contracts, and technical data.
• Developing detailed project schedules.
• Mitigating risk factors for successful project completion.
• Assigning work packages to responsible teams or external contractors.
• Contributing to contract writing for external contractors.
• Monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to cost and time constraints.
• Communicating with software developers, group leaders, contractors, and external customers.
• Coordinating with internal departments like Finance, Marketing, Sales, and external stakeholders.

Required skills & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in technical program/project management or as a Software Developer with extensive C, C++, Java experience and customer interaction.
• Technical supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of UNIX-based operating systems.
• Project planning, management, decision-making, problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of programmatic/technical procedures and contractual processes.
• Leadership, innovation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in software implementation projects, planning, and deployment in an AGILE environment.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Software development experience in Embedded and RTOS markets.

Preferred but not essential:

• Experience managing commercial projects in the Embedded and RTOS Market.
• Experience with QNX.
• Experience with implementing compliance to standards like ISO 9001, CMMI, IEC 61508, IEC 62304, SPICE ISO/IEC 15504, Common Criteria ISO 15408, ISO 26262.
