Bioprocess Specialist (m/f/x) PCS-lab
Purpose Of The Function

As a Bioprocess Specialist PCS-lab focusing on USP processes, you will be responsible for establishing a laboratory dedicated to upstream processes at small scale, contributing to Daiichi Sankyo's future ADC portfolio. You will work in a dynamic team establishing a new laboratory and characterizing new production processes for monoclonal antibodies.

  • Procurement, installation, qualification, and validation of bioprocess equipment for the PCS-laboratory according to GMP-like guidelines.
  • Collaboration with project teams, departments (quality management, engineering, procurement), and external vendors.
  • Establishing a GMP-like regulated laboratory and maintaining it (e.g., SOPs, process recipes, lab concepts; procurement of consumables).
  • Preparing and reviewing documentation such as dossiers.
  • Training future operators and implementing a training concept.
  • Establishing and optimizing biotechnological process steps in upstream processing.
  • Regular reporting and communication with the Japanese collaboration team.
Qualifications
  • University degree in biotechnology or a comparable field.
  • Several years of experience in cultivation and fermentation of CHO cells.
  • Experience with DoE and small-scale fermenters for mammalian cell culture.
  • Experience in process transfer between small and large scales.
  • GMP or GLP experience is advantageous.
