Your challenges
- In this position, you are responsible for conducting business in a defined geographic territory to meet sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience across the Bioprocess product portfolio.
- You act as a key point of contact for pre- and post-sales inquiries and technical product configuration guidance in close collaboration with sales, service, and field applications teams.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals; provide accurate sales forecasts and performance updates to management, including activity reports and risk assessments.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, discuss needs, promote products, and secure orders through remote communications.
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and lead qualification.
- Utilize CRM systems and customer insights to drive repeat business, strengthen customer engagement, and accelerate revenue growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Service, and Applications to ensure the generation of precise and timely customer quotes.
- Submit required reports and documentation to supervisors in a timely manner, such as time sheets, expense reports, and market feedback.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback and market intelligence to Product Management and Marketing to support data-driven decisions and future product strategy.
- Participate in limited travel activities, such as regional sales meetings, training sessions, or industry events.
Your expertise
- You have a degree in Life Sciences and bring at least one year of relevant professional experience.
- Ideally, you gained hands-on laboratory experience with bioreactors in cell culture and/or fermentation; knowledge in Cell & Gene Therapy is a plus.
- You are a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build sustainable relationships – both internally and externally.
- You are result-driven, analytically minded, and comfortable working with data to inform decisions.
- You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and actively seek to improve processes and outcomes.
- You are confident presenting technical content in a clear and engaging way.
- You are fluent in English and German, both written and spoken. Any additional language is an asset.
- You are proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and have experience working with CRM systems such as MS Dynamics.
