Position: BP Filtration Sales Specialist (d/f/m)

The BP Filtration Sales Specialist supports all relevant call points across Bioprocess where Filtration Consumables products are sold. Provide support to Account Managers with expert product knowledge, training, and support, whilst working to generate sales from new and existing customers. This role should be able to evaluate a customer's process to identify solutions and provide the necessary tools, information, and support to obtain additional sales and identify new opportunities.

This position reports to the BP Zone Filtration Lead and is part of the Account/Direct Sales department based in Germany. The role will be remote, covering the North/East region, including Berlin, Leipzig, Wolfsburg, Dresden, etc.

What you will do:
  • Contribute information to sales strategies and account plans as part of the core account team
  • Focus on Filtration Consumables opportunities and related single-use system designs within the assigned region; support the full Filtration Consumables portfolio by providing product expertise to Account Managers and proactively identifying new opportunities
  • Develop sales of modality solutions in the assigned sales region/territory, establishing long-lasting technical customer relationships
  • Provide high-level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes, and promotional events
  • Develop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel to meet business targets. Manage leads and prospects using customer relationship management software
Who you are:
  • University degree in life sciences or a related field
  • Several years of commercial experience, ideally within the biotechnology industry
  • In-depth expertise in filtration hardware and related consumables
  • Proven ability to drive cross-selling, upselling, value positioning, and effective funnel management
  • Fluent in German and English, with strong communication and negotiation skills
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to travel – 40-60% travel, overnight, within territory
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
