As a Biomethane Expert at GO2 Markets, you will be at the forefront of the biomethane market, connecting buyers and sellers, driving market growth, and promoting sustainable energy solutions. As an internal advisor and expert in your field, you will enable and guide our team in navigating and shaping a rapidly evolving industry. If you are ambitious and passionate about making a real difference in the fight against climate change, this position is for you.

This position is offered full-time, in Berlin, and at the earliest possible starting date.

Your Responsibilities At GO2 Markets

• You will act as internal expert and advisor on the Biomethane market, stay informed about market trends, regulatory developments, and provide insights and guidance to the team
• You will identify and connect with potential buyers and sellers of Biomethane, expanding our network and building strong industry relationships
• You will lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms and conditions, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
• You will drive the sales process from initial contact to closing deals successfully, achieving monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business
• You will maintain and nurture long-term client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and identifying new business opportunities
• You will represent GO2 Markets at conferences and industry events, enhancing our visibility and position us as a preferred partner within the industry
  
  
  
  
  

Your profile

• You have 3+ years of experience in sales, trading, consulting or similar within the renewable energy field and a track record of successfully closing business.
• You are a native or business-proficient English speaker, any additional European language is a big plus (e.g. German, Italian, French, Spanish).
• Your technical expertise allows you to confidently consult both internal and external stakeholders on Biomethane products and markets. Additional in-depth knowledge of Biomethane is a plus
• You are an excellent communicator, build strong relationships, and are committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• You are a creative problem-solver, empathetic listener, and are able to match the customer’s demand with a successful solution
• You are highly motivated and autonomous in your work, but you also know that the greatest wins happen in collaboration
