A leading research institution is seeking a Bioinformatician (Spatial Image Analysis) to conduct bioinformatic analyses, develop analysis frameworks, and train users. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's/PhD in a relevant field, strong programming skills in R and Python, and have experience in complex image analysis, particularly in spatial transcriptomics and proteomics.

The Single-cell Open Lab supports the analysis of spatial omics data within the Multispace initiative of the Health and Life Science Alliance Heidelberg-Mannheim (https://www.health-life-sciences.de/multispace/).
Our lab provides infrastructure for single-cell and spatial omics projects, collaborating closely with Heidelberg’s active research community and industry partners to advance multi-omics workflows and technology integration.
