The DKMS Life Science Lab gGmbH in Dresden carries out the molecular typing of the HLA characteristics of all DKMS donors in the fight against blood cancer and is the world's largest HLA tissue typing laboratory. Our laboratory, which is accredited according to international guidelines, sequences more than one million samples provided by DKMS donors every year. Our success builds on continuous research, aiming at taking advantage of the latest innovations in molecular biology and next generation sequencing and adapting those to the field of immunogenetics.

The Bioinformatics department at DKMS Life Science Lab gGmbH focuses on the analysis and integration of complex biological data, the development of computer-assisted methods for genotyping, and the design, implementation, and operation of complex software systems and analysis pipelines.

We are now seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team in Dresden as a Bioinformatician (m/f/d) (Full-time, permanent).

You will develop and implement bioinformatics solutions for genetic and genomic data analyses with a focus on next-generation sequencing (NGS) applications in HLA genotyping and immunogenetics. You will work on data processing pipelines, statistical analyses, and software development to support our laboratory's mission in the fight against blood cancer.
