DESCRIPTION

WORK LOCATION: This is a remote, home-based role. Permanently working from home from any location in Ireland.
PLEASE NOTE: It is mandatory for the candidate to reside in Ireland or be willing to relocate there.

Contract: 6 months

We are seeking Investigators to evaluate transactions, safeguard our customer base, and maintain high standards of customer experience. Investigators will handle duties related to online e-commerce risk assessment and mitigation.

The team operates in shifts, including weekends, to cover Amazon’s 7-day-a-week schedule. Shift timings are confirmed post-training, so flexibility is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate suspicious buyer activity that could pose risks to Amazon, customers, or merchants.
• Communicate via email and phone with buyers, merchants, and internal teams to assess risks.
• Enforce Amazon’s Policy Guidelines to maintain site quality.
• Identify and help minimize fraud patterns and trends, following escalation procedures when necessary.
• Participate in special projects and collaborate with relevant teams.
• Achieve or exceed weekly productivity and quality standards.

About the team

The Customer Trust and Partner Support (CTPS) team works to make Amazon the safest online marketplace. They safeguard transactions and develop risk management systems to build trust.

Basic Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese, with excellent written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools like Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, retail, or fraud/risk management.
• Background in insurance, finance, data analysis, research, translation, or training.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Self-disciplined, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
