Are you ready to drive innovation in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) while working 100% remotely? A global leader in advanced energy solutions is seeking a Technical Proposal Manager – BESS to lead the creation of strategic, detailed proposals for high-impact commercial and utility-scale storage projects.

This position is open to candidates based in France, Germany, or Italy, with English as your main working language. Experience at key players in the BESS or energy storage sector is highly valued.

What you’ll be doing :

• Lead the development of winning technical proposals for large-scale BESS projects
• Analyse RFPs and tender documents to define clear technical and commercial requirements
• Work with internal teams to design system configurations and author technical content
• Manage proposal documentation including system descriptions, performance models, and compliance matrices
• Ensure proposals meet client expectations and internal quality standards
• Provide technical input during negotiations and evaluations

What we’re looking for :

• 5+ years in technical proposal management, project engineering, or solution engineering (BESS or related)
• Strong knowledge of BESS components : batteries, PCS, EMS, HVAC, fire suppression, and renewable integration
• A degree in Energy Systems or similar
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• Experience in BESS system integration is highly desirable
