A global architecture firm in Frankfurt is seeking a Bid Coordinator to support its business development efforts. For our growing office in Frankfurt we are looking for aBid Coordinatorwith a commercial-creative mindset and a pro-active attitude to contribute to the growth of our presence in the Germany. The Bid manager is primarily responsible for managing bid teams and assuring the timely creation of compliant proposals and winning pitches. As the nature of our small set up requires flexibility, creativity and enthusiasm we are looking for a hands-on team-player who has the ambition to be part of the exciting expansion of UNS in Germany.
As such, the role will be based in our Frankfurt office and focused on the expansion of UNS’s business network in the Germany. You will work closely with the Business Development team in Amsterdam and be part of the larger international bidding team. You report directly to the company’s Managing Director Germany.

To keep up with the fast-paced nature of the industry you have outstanding organisation skills and have the ability to prioritise and work under pressure and to deadlines.
Your main responsibilities are:
Research and analyse market trends as well as market opportunities, to use them to identify the most suitable opportunities
Support leadership in the approach of new and existing clients to win work
Monitoring procurement portals regularly for new leads and opportunities
Review RFPs, develop a bid strategy and work with bid team on the tailored response
Crafting persuasive and detailed proposals tailored to specific clients and their needs
Coordinate all tender queries and clarifications in a highly professional manner
, Liaising with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors throughout the bid process
Develop overall market bid documents & strategies including contributing to win themes
Review bid documents and pull together content from previous relevant bids as well as best practice answers from bid portal and systems
Work in conjunction with the wider international Business Generation team to ensure central bid library is kept up to date, bids are filed correctly, and best practice answers and unique questions are identified
Part of the tasks are dedicated to the day-to-day business of UNS Frankfurt, which means in addition to the business development tasks the role requires carrying out administrative tasks, to support the Managing Director Frankfurt.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years relevant working experience in similar or relevant field (Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, Investors)
University degree in Architecture, Real Estate, Economics, Communications and/or Business Administration
Proven track record in identifying, pursuing, and securing business opportunities in competitive markets.
Experience working with high-profile clients and understanding the regional business culture and dynamics in Germany.
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive and tailored content for bids and supporting documentation
Demonstrated experience using Adobe software (including InDesign and Illustrator) to format, design and produce high-quality bid documents
Self-discipline and confidence in an ad-hoc environment
Stress resistance and a proactive hands-on mentality
Fluent (written and spoken) German and English
