BI Architect and Project Manager, Global (m/f/d) - Senior Manager

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Architect and Project Manager, Global (m/f/d) - Senior Manager to lead the Business Intelligence (BI) Workstream within our global SAP S/4HANA Transformation Program. This dual-role position combines deep expertise in SAP Business Intelligence with the strategic responsibility of project management. Your leadership will be critical in guiding a cross-functional team, managing resources, timelines, and budgets, and ensuring the successful integration of BI solutions within the broader S/4HANA transformation.

This position can be filled in any country within the EMEA region where our company is present.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the BI workstream within the global SAP S/4HANA transformation, managing end-to-end delivery, timelines, resources, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Align BI strategy with program goals by developing scalable solutions using SAP BI tools and Olympus standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business units (Finance, Operations, Supply Chain) to define data models, KPIs, and analytics needs.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of dashboards, reports, and analytics that support data-driven decisions.
  • Act as the central point of contact for BI activities, ensuring clear communication and regular updates to executives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of BI professionals, promoting collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Ensure data governance, integration, and compliance across BI solutions within the S/4HANA roadmap.
  • Lead workshops and solution design sessions to gather requirements and align with global standards and change management efforts.
  • Identify and address BI-related risks, ensuring quality delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in BI, business analysis, or architecture, including at least 5 years of project management experience in large-scale SAP S/4HANA or ERP transformations.
  • Proven track record in leading BI workstreams, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and BI integration; hands-on experience with SAP BI tools (e.g., BW, SAC, Power BI).
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills in global, cross-functional settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, with a solid understanding of business processes and data analytics.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and change management in enterprise environments.
  • Fluent in English; intercultural experience and additional language skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
