Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and monitor production processes in shipbuilding, optimizing workflows.
• Ensure machine availability and initiate measures in case of malfunctions.
• Assist management in implementing modernization projects.
• Collaborate with interface partners to improve work safety and machine performance.
• Provide technical solutions for implementation of details within the production environment.
• Prepare and support internal and external audits.
• Support supervisors in safety, cost optimization, quality assurance, and reducing throughput times.

Profile:

• Completed technical or university education in shipbuilding or comparable qualifications such as a welding engineer.
• Several years of professional experience in steel or shipbuilding are required.
• Process knowledge in lean management is desirable.
• Proficiency in German and English is required.
• Initiative, creativity, independence, and teamwork skills are essential.
