Job Description

Responsibilities

1. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and monitoring production processes, and optimizing them for pipe manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, connector assembly, and GRP adjustments.
2. You will ensure machine availability and initiate measures in case of malfunctions.
3. You will support the department management in implementing modernization projects.
4. In collaboration with interface partners, you will develop technical solutions to improve workplace safety and machine performance.
5. You will act as a contact person for engineering, finding solutions for the implementation of technical details within your production environment.
6. Preparing and supporting internal and external audits will also be part of your tasks.
7. You will assist the supervisor in areas such as workplace safety, cost optimization, quality assurance, and reducing throughput times.

Profile

1. You hold a completed technical or university degree in production engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable qualifications.
2. Several years of professional experience in submarine construction, shipbuilding, or plant engineering are required.
3. Process knowledge related to pipe construction/ventilation construction is desirable.
4. Technical skills in the mentioned activities are expected.
5. Good knowledge of German and English is required.
6. Initiative, creativity, independence, and enjoyment of teamwork complete your profile.
