Job Summary: We seek a Transcription Team Manager with experience in team and project management in the localization industry. You will oversee transcribers working on audio transcription projects, following established guidelines. This role offers multiple income streams as a transcriber, reviewer, and manager. Details below.

Responsibilities:

1. Communicate regularly and promptly in English.
2. Monitor team progress and performance; ensure timely project completion.
3. Manage invoicing and summaries.
4. Assist in hiring and onboarding transcribers following company procedures.
5. Administer and grade language verification tests, and improve testing processes.
6. Support and train transcribers.
7. Transcribe during downtime to support project progression.
8. Troubleshoot issues with team and operations managers.

Requirements:

• Full proficiency in Belarusian (ISO: be_by).
• Experience in linguistics, translation, transcription, or localization preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, internet, MAC and PC, Microsoft Applications, G Suite.
• Strong grammar, orthography, punctuation skills; a test will be required.
• Responsive with timely email access.
• Effective web search skills.
• Ability to onboard within two weeks.
• Experience with Upwork preferred.

Additional Information:

• Pay rates:
• Transcription: USD $2.10/min
• Reviewing: USD $0.65/min
• Management: USD $0.35/min
• Language grading: USD $15/submission

Project volume is approximately 100 audio hours, with potential fluctuation. Payment is on a 60-day cycle via PayPal, Payoneer, or other methods. Platform fees covered by Productive Playhouse. Pay is in USD; local currency varies with exchange rates.
