As Arrow Services (AIS),a part of Arrow Electronics, we are enabling our customers’ business growth by simplifying their technology experience. We support the full product lifecycle — from design, development, prototyping through to manufacturing, distribution, and managed services. AGS experts work with our customers to architect and deliver solutions while providing customized configuration support to ensure a successful implementation.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER Central (m/w/d)

The Intelligent Solutions Team is expanding! We're looking for a Business Development Manager based in Germany to drive strategic growth, build strong client relationships, and identify new market opportunities.

In this position, you will be responsible for the management of the current client accounts as well as the new business development. Your role will involve continuous relationship development between the business area, regional teams, and the vendors to ensure trust and support of business objectives. You will report to the Business Development Director and be a part of a fun, diverse team.

What will you be doing at Arrow AIS?

  • You will be responsible for developing, managing, and creating the relationship between Arrow Global services and potential customers.

  • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services

  • Develop a funnel using SFDC as a CRM tool

  • Ensure the execution of sales growth plans. Drives results through demand identification and demand creation opportunities

  • Plan and oversee new business initiatives

  • Research organizations and key stakeholders to find new opportunities

  • Find and develop new markets and improve sales by leveraging Arrow’s Portfolio of services

  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events

  • Develop quotes and proposals for clients

  • Develop goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are met

What are we looking for?

  • You have experience in a similar position within customer service, sales and/or business development within a relevant sector

  • Can build and develop strategic business relationships

  • You have interacted with high-level stakeholders from large accounts

  • Strong knowledge of the market, and a good understanding of the added value that a distributor provides to the channel

  • Effective communication with people at all levels

  • Fluency in German and English
