The focus shall always be on ensuring a safe and comfortable environment while maintaining a positive can-do attitude with an emphasis on the highest level of guest service for both external and internal guests at Live! Casino and Hotel.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications.
  • Guide guests through menu and drink options, as well as casino and hotel offerings.
  • Take orders from guests and serve them accurately and promptly.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Provide friendly and attentive service.
  • Handle all cash transactions.
  • Manage opening and closing inventories of all stock.
  • Retain knowledge of company policies regarding guest limitations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

  • Customer service skills.
  • Experience with POS (point of sale) software.
  • Upbeat, outgoing, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions.
  • Knowledge of bar equipment, Easy Bar System, ABC laws, and regulations.
  • Ability to handle situations arising from intoxication.
  • Effective communication with all departments and team members.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and health regulations for alcohol handling.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Six months to one year of experience as a bartender.
  • Ability to comply with state gaming regulations, including obtaining necessary licenses and health certificates.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning.
  • Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist, or reach, and work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
