Job summary

Avaloq is seeking a Banking Operations Specialist to monitor and optimize daily securities back-office processes for clients. You will work in a hybrid setup, communicating with clients in German and English, and contribute to improving Avaloq's core banking platform.

The role requires a solid background in banking operations, a degree in business/finance or economics, and 2+ years of experience. We value proactive problem-solving and collaborative teamwork across our global offices.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in banking operations, especially in a securities back office
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

Our BPaaS-Banking Operations teams offer standardizedand automatedprovisioningofsecurity backofficeservices to our global clients. With Avaloq's state-of-the-art banking software and smart reliable processes, we aim to provide efficient value add services in a constantly changing banking environment.

You will be part of one of our Banking Operations teams, which consists of multiple highly qualified Banking Specialists. As part of a fast-growing company, flexibility and satisfactory performance are very important. We ensure this as a team together with all our colleagues.

As part of one of our Banking Operation teams, you monitor, plan and execute daily operations in line with the Service Level Agreements (SLA) defined with our clients from the financial industry.

• Become an expert in a dedicated service area / team within a full scope securities back office
• Communicate solution-oriented with clients and internal stakeholders
• Support the team improving the functionalities of Avaloq's core banking platform and the related operational processes to increase efficiency and decrease operational risks
• Contribute to the team in the testing of new functionalities of Avaloq software releases

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or economics and/or training as a professional banker or comparable qualification
• At least two years of professional experience
• Knowledge and working experience in Banking Operations, especially in a securities back office
• Fluent communication skills in German and English (both verbal and written)

It would be a real bonus if you have:

• Knowledge of Avaloq Core Banking System
• Knowledge of additional languages, for example Italian orFrench
