Qualifications

• University degree in economics/finance or completed bank apprenticeship.
• Substantial experience in banking with a focus on credit.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, draft functional specs, and perform business tests.
• Full professional fluency in German.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client workshops and engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop detailed functional specifications.
• Contribute to product backlog refinement and assist the product owner in strategic roadmap development.
• Collaborate with software engineers and the team architect to ensure precise implementation and thorough business testing.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in credit and support the Sales team with specialist inquiries.
• Own the Avaloq Region EU Platform functionality used by European clients in the credit sector.
• Coordinate with teams responsible for technical frameworks and components for seamless integration.
• Collaborate with business analysts across countries for market-specific requirements and standardized products.
• Contribute to product documentation and review artefacts created by technical writers for accuracy.
• Support existing clients by analyzing incidents and responding to service requests.

Job Description

• Conduct client workshops and engage with stakeholders to gather comprehensive requirements and develop detailed functional specifications
• Contribute to product backlog refinement and assist the product owner in strategic product roadmap development
• Collaborate closely with software engineers and the team architect to ensure precise implementation of requirements and conduct thorough business testing
• Serve as a subject matter expert in credit, providing critical support to the Sales team on specialist inquiries and requests, while continuously enhancing domain knowledge and offering valuable insights to colleagues
• Assume ownership and accountability for the functionality of the Avaloq Region EU Platform, which is utilized by all European Avaloq clients in the credit sector
• Liaise effectively with teams responsible for technical frameworks and specific functional components to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
• Participate in knowledge exchange and collaboration initiatives with business analysts across various countries to address market-specific requirements and work towards the development of standardized products
• Provide essential input for product documentation and conduct thorough reviews of artefacts created by technical writers to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support existing clients by conducting in-depth analyses of reported incidents and responding to service requests in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

• University degree in economics/finance or completed bank apprenticeship
• Substantial professional experience in the banking industry, with a specific focus on credit
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients
• Demonstrated proficiency in requirements gathering, creation of functional specifications, and execution of business tests
• Unwavering commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the credit domain
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a particular emphasis on abstract thinking
• Full professional fluency in German
