Bank Accounting Expert (m / f / d)

Job Purpose / Role :

• Full responsibility for the bank accounting area, including the oversight of the cash-related suspense accounts. In this context, there will be a junior colleague and several external suppliers involved for operational support
• Carryout of part of the monthly and quarterly closing activities
• Operational support with intra-branch and intercompany invoicing processes
• Support in AR / AP related tasks
• Support in M&A projects whenever bank integration is involved

Qualifications / Key skills :

University degree in mathematics, business administration, business engineering or comparable

At least 5 years of working experience in a comparable role

Fluent in business English. Business proficiency in German is also very welcome

Extensive experience with SAP FI S / 4. Knowledge of S / 4 Hana is a plus

Good understanding of how the insurance business works is a plus

Good understanding of accounting principles, with specific focus on bank accounting

Education & Experience :

Extensive experience in the use of SAP

Good financial expertise with focus on bank accounting with capability to manage state of the art financial processes

Very sharp analytical and conceptual skills

Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail

Team spirit, a demonstrably thorough working style and ability to work under pressure
