Qualifikationen

Join our bakery in Hamburg Altona as Baker or Confectioner (m/f/d).

About the job

Brammibal's Donuts is a vegan donut company founded in Berlin in 2015. Since then we have grown a lot and continue to do so: we run six cafés, a huge bakery and an office in Berlin and expanded to Hamburg in October 2022. So far we opened three cafés (in Altona, Schanze and Jungfernstieg) and operate our bakery in Hamburg Altona. Now we are looking for you to support our bakery team to produce even more delicious, high-quality vegan donuts.

As Baker / Confectioner, you will work in our production team in our bakery in Hamburg Altona.

As Baker, your daily focus will be on the production of donut dough. You will prepare the dough, cut it, bake and fry the donuts. Afterwards, you will help the Confectioner team with prep and other tasks.

As Confectioner, you put the finishing touches on our donuts and make sure they always look great. You prepare fillings and glazes and glaze and decorate the donuts with your eye for detail.

You should be organized, decisive and attentive and have an understanding of modern baking / pastry techniques.

About you

• You are a trained confectioner/baker and/or have relevant experience in a professional kitchen.
• Availability to work early hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Attention to detail and can produce food products with consistent quality.
• Love working in a team.
• Experience using plant-based ingredients would be an advantage.
• Ability to work in a hot environment, lift heavy weights, walk, bend, use your hands and machinery.

• Hourly wage between €14.60-€16.15 per hour, depending on experience.
• Bonuses for Sundays, night shifts, and public holidays (All bonuses are tax-free: 25% night bonus, 25% on Sundays, 50% on public holidays, 40% if you start before 12 a.m. and work until 5 a.m.).
