We are looking for

A driven and enthusiastic Backend Engineer (m/w/d) who wants to contribute to our Tech Team's growth and success.

Your role in BizAway

You will work in a cross-functional team to implement new features, evolve the platform, and collaborate with colleagues to turn ideas into solutions.

Your basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of backend development experience, with solid knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB.
• Experience with OpenAPI (Swagger) standard.
• Proficiency with one of the following Node.js frameworks: Fastify, Express, Nest.js.
• Experience in writing automated tests.
• Understanding of AWS cloud services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional preferred skills

• Experience with ElasticSearch.
• Experience with message brokers like Kafka.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of Domain Driven Design.
