Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate closely with your Tech Lead on architecting new features and seeing them through to completion.
2. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in a thriving environment.
3. Mentor junior team members by reviewing code through pull requests and providing guidance.
4. Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and propose innovations during team sessions.
5. Work within your cross-functional team to uphold the highest technical standards across the product.

What you need to be successful:

• Experience developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (Kotlin experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Experience working in a modern cloud environment, preferably with AWS.
• Proactive in helping yourself and others succeed.
• Commitment to continuous learning and challenging the status quo.
• Ability to think globally and act locally.
• Open, direct, and timely communication and feedback.
