Your Role

As a Backend Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering (all genders), you will be part of an engineering squad with strong knowledge of electrical engineering, coding, databases, and software architecture. Together, you will drive topics surrounding electrical power system engineering, electrical/mathematical models, and algorithms, impacting the user experience, our organization, and our engineering practices.

How You Make an Impact

  • You are part of a cross-functional department and team (backend, frontend, DevOps developers, design, and product owner) and develop state-of-the-art electrical engineering applications that deliver effective customer value.
  • You design, enhance, and implement electrical engineering workflows and mathematical solvers, adhering to current technology standards and best practices.
  • You participate in conceptualizing and developing professional backend solutions to continuously evolve our product within an agile working environment, collaborating with other cross-functional squads in the engineering department.

Your Profile

  • You have a background in electrical engineering or a closely related field, or a strong mathematical background (e.g., mechanical energy engineering, applied computer science, engineering physics), and are eager to expand your knowledge in electrical engineering and power system calculations.
  • You are a team player and passionate about working with talented and inspiring people.
  • You seek technical challenges and pride yourself on finding smart and creative solutions.
  • You have experience with Python and possibly other programming languages like C++, Go, or Rust, especially in electrical engineering and mathematical algorithms contexts.
  • You are passionate about writing state-of-the-art software as a major part of your daily work.
  • You are business-fluent in English (Level C1).
  • Ideally, you are familiar with parts of our tech stack, current software design principles, and are eager to stay updated with industry best practices.
