Our User Insights & Compliance team provides the technical foundations for New-Work's data-driven products. We serve as the connecting link between business and technology departments, collaborating with teams such as Product, Legal, Marketing, and Analytics. We build and maintain in-house services that enable these departments to optimize their products while ensuring data is used in a compliant manner.

What you can look forward to (tasks):
  1. Design and maintain data applications that handle millions of requests daily.
  2. Monitor current trends in the data & AI world.
  3. Collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and analysts to support the implementation of data-driven features and services.
  4. Contribute your knowledge and experience to impact our products and technical architecture.
  5. Work with big data technologies such as Node.js, Scala, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Snowflake.
  6. Engage in the full development cycle: task breakdown, coding, writing unit tests, participating in code reviews, and deployments.
Your skills:
  1. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Strong programming skills in Node.js and Ruby on Rails.
  3. Good knowledge of SQL.
  4. Interest in working with large data sets.
  5. Motivation to write clean, refactorable code.
  6. Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest (unit and end-to-end testing).
  7. Experience with big data technologies like Kafka and Hive.
  8. Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes as a developer.
  9. Proficient communication skills in English, especially technical communication.
  10. A good sense of humor and a positive mindset, even in challenging situations.
