JustDice, part of the applike group, is hiring a Go backend engineer in Hamburg. You’ll develop robust microservices in Go, build AWS-based backend architectures, and collaborate in agile teams to ship scalable solutions.

Requirements include 2–3 years with Golang, AWS (ECS, DynamoDB), Kubernetes, Terraform/Terragrunt, and experience with relational and NoSQL databases. We offer a hybrid setup with 3 core office days, 30 vacation days, relocation support, and wellness benefits.

• 2–3+ years of Go software development experience.

What you will do:

• Developing robust, scalable, and efficient microservices in Go

• Planning, developing, and maintaining backend architectures using AWS Cloud Technologies, Kubernetes, Go Microservices and ElasticSearch.

• Ensuring quality through unit and integration testing

• Collaborating within agile teams to analyze and implement product requirements

• Optimizing existing systems for performance and scalability

Who you are:

• Extensive experience in software development with Golang (at least 2–3 years)

• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services: mainly ECS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch

• Working knowledge of Kubernetes

• Proficiency with Terraform, Terragrunt

• Proficiency in working with both relational and noSQL databases

• Hands-on experience working with Microservices architecture

• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices

• Strong sense of ownership, ability to work well in a team, and enthusiasm for innovative technologies

• Be fluent in English
