Meet Your Team: Programmatic Supply Services

The Programmatic Supply Services team builds the platform that enables mobile app developers to plug into adjoe’s products and manage how they use them. Our goal is to make that experience fast, stable, and straightforward even as we operate at a massive global scale! We work across real-time data processing, reliable Go backend services, public APIs, and intuitive TypeScript/React interfaces. The systems we build handle huge volumes of events from millions of mobile players, turning that data into simple, meaningful insights and smooth workflows. Joining the team means working on products where clear design, performance, and resilience matter just as much as clean code. You’ll help create the tools developers rely on every day to bring adjoe’s advertising experiences into their apps with confidence.

What You Will Do:

• Contribute to the development of our backend written +99% in Go and maintain our microservice architecture used to communicate with our frontend (based on TypeScript React). To do this, you’ll use event buses like Kafka, SQS/SNS, etc., in order to have reliable asynchronous microservice communication.
• Work in a community of developers with whom you’ll share knowledge and contribute to peer code reviews.
• Continuously search for ways to decrease the API response time for complex queries – we work with a few hundred terabytes of data.
• Work with modern databases such as Druid – but also with MySQL and Redis, where you’ll optimize queries and the way we query data to deliver few‑millisecond response times.
• Support partners by providing them with raw or aggregated data based on their business needs – we believe in data transparency and well‑documented open APIs.
• Be responsible for collecting the billions of daily API events and aggregating them in our Kafka and Kinesis streams with the goal of querying them from the data lake in a matter of seconds.
• Be part of an international English‑speaking team dedicated to scaling our adtech platform beyond our hundreds of millions of monthly active users.

Who You Are:

• You have worked in software development for 5+ years.
• You have gained 3+ years of experience with Golang in a production environment, preferably in distributed systems.
• You are a technology nerd and are able to get involved in new, complex topics quickly.
• Knowledge about databases and a basic understanding of Regular Expressions, HTTP protocol and Encoding.
• You have experience working with infrastructure as code (Terraform), Docker, and serverless infrastructure.
• You are open to relocating to Hamburg, Germany.
