Job summary

JetBrains ищет backend-разработчика на JVM для создания и эксплуатации сервисов, управляющих лицензиями и расходом использования. Вы будете эволюционировать доменные модели под разные коммерческие схемы, проектировать версии API и обеспечивать надежность через интеграционные тесты и мониторинг.

Qualifications

• Опыт разработки и эксплуатации JVM-бэкэнд сервисов на Kotlin/Java.
• Знание реляционных БД, транзакций, уровней изоляции, индексов и миграций схем.
• Понимание паттернов распределённых систем: идемпотентность, повторные попытки, eventual consistency.
• Опыт миграций данных без простоя с использованием feature flags и staged rollout.
• Проектирование версионированных API для инженерных команд.
• Опыт работы с архитектурами на события и Kafka.
• Умение диагностировать инциденты в продакшене и быстро находить решения.
• Свободно владение английским языком (письменно и устно).

Responsibilities

• Разрабатывать и эксплуатировать бэкэнд-сервисы на JVM.
• Управлять конвергенцией лицензионных и потребительских данных в единый поток.
• Моделировать доменные области под разные коммерческие модели.
• Интегрировать с внешними системами с учётом идемпотентности и согласованности.
• Писать интеграционные тесты и поддерживать инфраструктуру тестирования.

Задачи:

Design, build, and operate backend services that determine customer entitlements and usage costs; Own end-to-end flows from ingesting licensing and purchase data to enforcing quotas and recording consumption; Evolve the domain model to support seat-based and usage-based commercial models; Design integrations with external systems using idempotency, ordering, reconciliation, and eventual consistency; Plan and execute live data migrations with feature flags, dual writes, backfills, and staged verification; Build observability by defining invariants, metrics, and alerts; Design versioned, backward-compatible internal APIs for other JetBrains teams; Improve system performance and reliability under continuous production load; Decommission legacy subsystems; Write integration tests against real dependencies and maintain test infrastructure; Investigate production incidents, identify root causes, and implement lasting fixes.

Требования:

Proven experience building and operating JVM backend services with Kotlin or Java; Solid knowledge of relational databases, including transactions, isolation levels, locking, indexing, and live schema migrations; Deep understanding of distributed systems patterns, including idempotency, retry strategies, eventual consistency, and data reconciliation; Practical experience performing live data migrations and system changes without downtime using feature flags and staged rollouts; Experience designing versioned, backward-compatible APIs for engineering teams; Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as Kafka; Ability to diagnose, debug, and resolve production incidents in complex environments; Strong focus on accuracy in systems with direct financial impact; Pragmatic judgment when designing distributed systems under unreliable delivery; Ability to use metrics, traces, and logs to understand production behavior; Ability to navigate and simplify large legacy codebases; Clear, direct communication across teams with different priorities; Testing-focused engineering approach; Proficiency in written and spoken English.
