Job summary

Doopic Ltd. in Berlin is seeking a capable backend developer to help expand and redesign our diverse system. You will focus on building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You’ll work with Linux, Nginx, Docker, and AWS, and you’ll help optimize databases and deployment pipelines. If you enjoy challenging tasks, learning, and contributing to a positive work atmosphere, this role is for you.

Qualifications

• Experience in backend development for large web applications; familiarity with MVC and Git.
• Knowledge of database architecture and query optimization.
• Fluency in German or English; ability to manage priorities and multitask.
• Experience with Docker, AWS, Linux, Nginx; deployment pipelines a plus.
• Experience in e-commerce or image processing is a plus.

Qualifikation

• You are well-versed in the development of the back-end of large web applications, and you don't need to Google what MVC and Git means. Additionally, you bring valuable skills in database architecture and query optimizations.
• Basic knowledge in front-end development, system administration (Linux, Nginx), experience with Docker, building deployment pipelines software versioning, as well as experience with Amazon Web Services and image processing toolboxes, are not a must – but would make us pretty happy.
• You speak fluent German or English, always know exactly what needs to be done first, and even if many consider multitasking an illusion - you are living proof that it exists!
• Experience in e-commerce and/or image processing is a big plus, especially if you have worked with high-volume image workflows, image processing pipelines or related technologies.
