EuroCaution, the leading insurance broker for Bond & Surety on the Belgian & Luxembourg market with more than 1500 active customers and 2500 construction projects guaranteed, is looking for a new Back-Office Officer & Accounting Assistant to join our new team.
Your Mission
- Assist the Administrative team with day-to-day tasks, including managing relations with notaries, purchasers, and customers' administrative managers in Belgium and Luxembourg via email and telephone.
- Handle administrative support such as issuing legal documents, collecting and following up on KYC, AML, and Compliance documents, and managing policies, delivery notes, and archiving.
- Invoicing guarantees and sending customer reminders.
- Assist the Financial Director with pre-accounting of invoices and follow-up of invoice processing.
Your Professional Skills
- Accounting degree or at least 3 years of similar experience.
- Strong customer focus with diplomatic communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written.
- Positive, helpful attitude with a team-oriented approach, commercial awareness, and decision-making abilities considering the bigger picture.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately across multiple systems and adapt to new insights.
- Proactive with analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Other Required Skills
- Fluent in French, both written and verbal.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
