Project Focus:

The project involves creating a comprehensive thermo-mechanical model of a whole engine's static components using Altair SIMSOLID. This model will facilitate conceptual studies on various effects and guide future design improvements, particularly concerning tip clearance and casing non-symmetries to enhance turbomachinery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize with SIMSOLID and thermal modeling of engine components
  • Develop component models and integrate into a complete engine model (thermal, stress, structural)
