Tasks

We are looking for a results-driven B2B Sales Manager to significantly expand our presence in the German and European retail markets. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for forging new partnerships and driving product listings across a diverse range of physical and online channels.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive B2B sales strategies to secure product listings in key retail segments, including hardware and tool stores, supermarkets, and office supply chains.
  • Identify, target, and acquire new key accounts within Germany and across Europe for both brick-and-mortar and online retail channels.
  • Negotiate and finalize listing agreements with major retail groups and e-commerce platforms, ensuring favorable terms and optimal product placement.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with retail buyers and category managers.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g. Marketing, Product Development, Logistics) to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts and ongoing sales support.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of successfully listing products in large German retail chains (e.g. hardware stores, supermarkets, office supply chains).
  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, key account management, or business development, preferably within the consumer goods or DIY sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex sales agreements and achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the German and European retail landscape, both offline and online.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in German (C2) and English (min. B2), both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and Europe to meet with prospective and existing clients.
