Description

Upway is the leading platform selling refurbished e-bikes in Europe and the US. In two years, we have given a new life to over 20,000 e-bikes, and we are continuing to grow fast! Germany has now become our largest market, and we are hiring a Graduate B2B Business Development Manager to join our Sales team.

The Sales team’s role is to build a strong network of partners in order to purchase the most qualitative e-bikes across Germany at the best price. You will play a key role in our sourcing strategy by building new partnerships and managing critical relationships with our hundreds of partners, ranging from retailers to manufacturers and leasing companies. This role involves plenty of travel to meet with our partners across Germany.

What you will do

  • Take full ownership of our B2B partnerships and buying targets in your region
  • Build and manage a network of partners in your region: you will spend time on the road meeting bike shops, leasing companies and manufacturers
  • Launch our trade-in software and manage our trade-in process in bike shops in your region
  • Buy the most relevant e-bikes at the best price from retailers, leasing companies and manufacturers, using our pricing models and your negotiation skills
  • You are one of the first Business developers in the team: you will design and improve our processes together with the General Manager

What you will need

  • 0-2 years of experience in sales, purchasing, or account management
  • You are a native German speaker, and good English speaker
  • You enjoy meeting new people and are able to build long term relationships
  • You are reliable, very reactive and you build trust with the people you work with
  • You have high energy and a strong willingness to learn and improve Upway’s business
  • You love bikes!
  • You will work remotely and travel extensively in the South of Germany, with visits to our office in Berlin occasionally
