Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President- Data and AI Advisor / Sales – High Tech, Software and Services

The Data AI Sales Lead will be a member of a dynamic team driving growth of Genpact’s Data and AI led solutions in a prioritized portfolio of accounts. Creating, shaping, and responding to the ever-increasing new challenges faced within specific industry verticals such as High Tech Hardware, Software, Services, and Manufacturing, in support of Genpact’s Sales and Transformation Services community.

The Data and AI growth strategy aligns with Genpact’s vision of being a distinguished partner as clients adopt AI at scale to transform and accelerate growth. This role will identify, shape, and close revenue-generating opportunities in new and existing accounts, based on carefully curated, repeatable offerings and solutions for driving change in specific vertical industries. The role will focus on leading-edge Data and AI solutions, including (but not limited to) Databricks, Snowflake, and Data Cloud platforms, leveraging your deep domain expertise to foster innovation and thought leadership.

A sales professional who has successfully created positive impacts through consistent business expansion, with the capability to originate new deals, qualify, shape solutions, sell, negotiate, and close using sales processes and technical expertise. You will develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients by bringing the best of Genpact’s domain and technology capabilities to offer a value-centric proposition.

Responsibilities

  1. Act as a trusted advisor in establishing relationships (in partnership with Genpact Sales and SMEs / Solution Architects), and assist clients in thinking through challenging business opportunities.
  2. Demonstrate an understanding of a client’s business and use of leading Data Platforms (specifically Databricks, Snowflake), AI, and LLM technologies to craft transformational value propositions.
  3. Proactively identify and develop opportunities for GenAI / AI solutions.
  4. Provide domain and digital solution expertise and support to internal teams, including participation in RFI, RFP, proactive bids, customer-facing envisioning sessions, demonstrations, assessments, and workshops.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and scope new opportunities (Analytics, Tech, Experience, Digital delivery, etc.).
  6. Own revenue and bookings targets for the dedicated Data AI industry segment and maintain up-to-date revenue forecasts.
  7. Build trusted relationships with Data Partners and their sales leadership to bring innovative solutions to clients.
  8. Expand Genpact's market positioning by developing new offerings and thought leadership marketing.
  9. Own delivery estimations, solutioning, and pricing for client solutions, and work closely with legal teams on customer agreements, licenses, SOWs, change requests, etc.

Qualifications we seek in you!

  1. Deep Data and AI product knowledge in one or more Data platforms, with proven experience in solutioning and selling data and AI transformation solutions, data migration, and data management services.
  2. Experience and comfort in managing sales, booking, and margin targets.
  3. A passion for creating a highly differentiated and scalable transformation services business.
  4. Experience in Software / Data / AI companies or similar consulting firms, aiming to catalyze rapid business growth.
  5. Ability to articulate the value of digital & transformation solutions compellingly to both business and technical audiences.
  6. Relevant industry and sales experience in High Tech, Hardware, Software, Services, Manufacturing.
  7. Deep expertise in developing Data and AI solutions within multi-tech, multi-cloud, SaaS/on-prem stacks.
  8. Executive presence and experience engaging with C-Suite, EVP, VP, and technical buyers.
  9. Willingness to travel (25-100%) based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

  1. Deep expertise in specific industry verticals such as Manufacturing, High Tech Software, Hardware, Hospitality, Services, Logistics, Media, Telco, or Entertainment.
  2. Experience in driving end-to-end digital transformation in Manufacturing / High Tech sectors.
  3. Experience applying AI / GenAI technologies to solve business problems, integrated across digital software & SaaS products.
  4. Understanding of business dynamics based on digitalization and GenAI disruption.
  5. Strong collaborative attitude and cultural fit — curious, incisive, courageous, with integrity.
  6. Technical understanding of full-stack AI architecture, integrations, and domain expertise.
  7. Strong business acumen to solution, estimate, and negotiate commercial deals.
