Avionics Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
OHB\'s spacecrafts observe the Earth, relay valuable data, study the solar system, and much, much more. The avionics engineering department works at the core of each spacecraft: We make sure the spacecraft remains under control, make sure all science data is collected. We even make sure that on-board failures are automatically recovered - because in space there is no repair shop. We are constantly growing and in search of individuals who combine a sound technical background with a high level of motivation. If you like the stars and you like bits and bytes, we might just have the job for you: As Avionics Systems Engineer (m/f/d) you have the opportunity to work in a dedicated & motivated team to define the Avionics Architecture of the spacecraft, design and implement the data handling subsystem and its components (spacecraft control computer, telemetry acquisition units, mass memory units, …) and to develop and verify recovery mechanisms to ensure the spacecraft remains safe and operational for years.
Your tasks are mission-dependent and evolve throughout the life cycle of our spacecraft design and implementation process, from initial conception to the support of the launch campaign. Depending on your experience and preferences the tasks may include:
