About The Role

Role Overview

proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced AV Install Engineer to be a key part of our team, representing proAV. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected by the remuneration and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

1. Physical installation of equipment (e.g., projectors, plasma displays, speakers, smartboards, equipment racks) and commissioning of the equipment.
2. Read, understand, and interpret audio visual schematics and construction drawings.
3. Attend site coordination meetings.
4. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of onsite installation.
5. Report to the Project Manager.
6. Represent the Project Manager in their absence.
7. Liaise with internal departments, clients, and contractors.
8. Participate in health and safety activities, such as toolbox talks.
9. Attend training courses as necessary.

Person Specification

1. Possess good underpinning technical knowledge of Electronics and Audio Visual Systems.
2. Ability to prioritize and work under pressure is essential.
3. High level of computer literacy.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
5. Ability to think laterally and find appropriate solutions.
6. Good verbal and written communication skills, capable of liaising with company executives and building contractors.
7. Ability to plan and organize work.
