Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automotive System Engineer (M/F/O) responsible for system functions, acting as the single point of contact for customers and internal teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing system requirements in DOORS derived from customer stakeholder needs and ensuring alignment with project roadmaps.
  • Conducting function analyses, solving related problems, and managing acceptance processes in accordance with internal and external requirements.
  • Performing system acceptance tests on vehicles or HIL setups.
  • Proposing and reviewing technical concepts aligned with system architecture and requirements.
  • Representing the system in ASPICE audits.
  • Collaborating closely with customers to present technical solutions and performance metrics.
  • Working with other system engineers and internal teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
Requirements
  • Completed engineering degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, automotive engineering, physics, or equivalent training.
  • Several years of experience in system or software design, particularly for embedded automotive solutions, including vehicle bus systems (e.g., CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
  • Experience with system function development and documentation in DOORS.
  • Programming skills in C/C++ or Python are advantageous.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong communication skills, personal initiative, teamwork ability, and enthusiasm for technical systems.
