Job Description

We are looking for a new engineer with experience related to Automotive System Engineering (M/F/O), to assume the following responsibilities :

• Responsible for an end customer system function and single point of contact to customer and Valeo internally for the relevant function
• Writing system requirements in DOORS derived from customer stakeholder requirements and ensuring the roadmap
• Function analyses, related problem solutions, and acceptance owned by the Sys engineer, in accordance with internal and external requirements
• System acceptance can be performed on vehicle or HIL
• Technical concept proposals and reviews in line with internal and external requirements, aligned with system architecture
• Representing Sys in ASPICE audits
• Collaborating closely with the customer and presenting technical solutions and performance metrics to both the customer and Valeo internal management
• Working in close collaboration with other system engineers and their functions

Requirements

• Completed engineering degree (electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, automotive engineering, physics) or comparable training
• Several years of experience in system or software design, ideally for embedded automotive solutions, including vehicle bus systems (e.g., CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
• Knowledge in the development and documentation of system functions in DOORS
• Programming knowledge such as C/C++ or Python is an advantage
• Fluent English
• Personal initiative, teamwork ability, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for technical systems
