Our client, a leading company in the Industrial Components sector, is currently looking for a :

Reporting to the local Country Manager and functionally to the BU Director of the Automotive cluster, the candidate will be based in Germany but will work within a growing international team.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for commercially managing and developing relationships with German Customers of the Automotive sector. The resource will constantly liaise with the internal Technical Office to identify the most appropriate technical product characteristics, supporting customers and proposing high value-added solutions.

Areas of responsibility :

  • Maintain current business in the German Area
  • Develop business aligned with the Companies’ Automotive Roadmap, collaborating with Management and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of technical solutions, based on comprehensive market intelligence and competitive analysis
  • Identify sales conditions and manage the selling process from quotation to launch
  • Provide support in resolving technical problems faced by customers
  • Prepare the sales budget and periodic reports
  • CRM management

Requirements :

  • Degree in engineering or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years’ Sales in the automotive industry
  • Experience & knowledge of the German market within suppliers of the Automotive sector with matrix organization
  • Experience in building complex commercial relationships with automotive clients and identifying market needs while ensuring maximum satisfaction and loyalty
  • Knowledge of BEV and ICE technologies trends
  • Thermal management Automotive experience
  • Team player
  • Strategic thinking
  • Used to work in a team with continuous improvement methodologies
  • German mother-tongue and excellent knowledge of English, other languages a plus
  • Availability to travel 50% of the time
