About the position
Perstorp are now seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our global team TDI, Technology, Development & Investments. We are responsible for execution of CAPEX projects at our global sites.
In this role you will be a part of our TDI hub, which manages the site Bruchhausen project portfolio, and provide expertise in the automation discipline across global projects and initiatives. You will play a key role in CAPEX investment projects & technical networks, as well as contributing to continuous improvements of our project management system and maintaining & developing internal competence within automation engineering.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing and updating technical guidelines, supporting process improvements, coordinating systems for technical documentation and design, and participating in technical sourcing with a focus on automation. This is a dynamic opportunity to influence and enhance automation practices on a global scale.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within a relevant engineering discipline, paired with at least five years of experience in the process industry—ideally within the chemical sector.
Proficiency in both German and English is important, as is your ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively in a global environment.
