The Role

As an Automation Service Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive best‑in‑class support across complex automation and control systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out commissioning, inspections, and service assignments on automation systems worldwide
• Providing technical support with a strong focus on PLC software functions
• Adapting and developing PLC software solutions to meet customer‑specific requirements
• Travelling internationally for on‑site service, troubleshooting, and system optimisation
• Analysing and resolving technical issues and customer complaints with accuracy and professionalism
• Working in high pressure, time critical environments

About You

• 2 years of experience in automation technology (PLC programming essential)
• Maritime exposure ideal, such as onboard engineering or working with marine automation systems
• A structured, independent, and solution‑driven approach
• Strong communication skills in German and English (B2 minimum) (essential)
• Willingness to travel internationally as part of your role (essential)
