In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automation concepts (robotics). You will define technical measures to support employees and implement fully automated solutions for GMP-compliant medicinal product manufacturing.

You will report to the Head of Automation Engineering.

How you will contribute:

  • Manage automation programs focusing on robotics
  • Develop concepts and technical solutions for departmental and site-wide projects (new technologies, automation, robotics)
  • Prepare, plan, support, and implement investment projects, including budget, cost, and time management
  • Design technical aspects of robots, peripherals, and systems
  • Define, monitor, and report on internal key figures
  • Manage internal interdisciplinary teams and support external employees involved in projects
  • Ensure occupational safety, health, and environmental standards are met during projects

What you bring to Takeda:

  • University or technical college degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology, or similar
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in robotics and automation technology
  • Project experience with robotics, automation, and production automation
  • Knowledge of AGVs, AMR, Cobots & Robotics (e.g., Omron, Fanuc, Agilox), independent of manufacturer
  • Experience with data and IT integration, programming, and adaptation of robots and automation systems, including IoT and automated logistics solutions
  • Knowledge of SAP and GMP is advantageous
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
