As an Automation Engineer / Software Developer Robotics at HandsOn Robotics, you have the unique opportunity to play an integral role in the development of one of the first robot-based automation products for large-scale commercial kitchens. Your Contribution

• Programming of robot and motion control / software components for image processing
• Continuously optimize and enhance our robots’ abilities regarding performance, quality and skills
• Contribute significantly to groundbreaking developments in the applied robotics field
• Test activities and data acquisition at the customer’s site if necessary
• Help our customers to overcome significant challenges with regards to labor shortage, putting their service offers on risk

Your Profile

• Completed university or college degree in computer science, software development, robotics, electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent training and professional experience in a corresponding environment
• Knowledge of software development (primarily: C++ / Python)
• Sound knowledge of robotics
• Knowledge of AI/ML and image processing desirable
• Logical-analytical thinking and system-analytical solution competence
• Initial or advanced knowledge of quality assurance or test-based development (unit tests, integration tests, testing frameworks, CI pipelines)
• Knowledge of Linux systems is essential
• English language skills spoken and written
• Professional experience is not necessarily required, but graduates with a focus on practical work are also an alternative (HandsOn mentality should be in the foreground)
