CCL Global are currently recruiting for 2 Senior Automation Engineers to be based in Spain.

The Automation engineers will carry out tasks in your area of competence to successfully complete, both in terms of time and quality, the automation projects assigned to you related to

Programming and commissioning of PLC / HMI systems for automated safety installations.

Location : Barcelona, Spain

Type of Contract : Permanent

Key responsibilities :

As part of a team of programmers, you will :

• Analyse customer requirements
• List requirements and ensure their compliance with the software project
• List the tasks into which the software project is subdivided
• Planning the completion date of tasks and marking progress
• Submit status / task progress reports to the head of department
• Inform the department and project managers of possible deviations in progress well in advance so that corrective action can be taken.
• Identify customer requests that may be considered as cost overruns and assess their impact on the project.
• PLC and HMI programming
• Drafting user, operating and training manuals.
• Draft technical documentation associated with the project.
• Start-up at the customer’s premises
• Technical assistance on site and / or telephone support if contracted by the client / project.

Experience sought :

Automation in the automotive sector :

• Automated sheet metal lines (welding / handling)
• Robotic paint lines (sealed, interior, soundproofing, anti-corrosion, quality control of paint,...)

Good knowledge of PLC programming :

Previous experience in setting up installations in the automotive sector (start-up at the customer’s home).

• Sheet metal lines (welding / robotic handling)
• Lines of "paints" (sealed bass, interior, soundproofing, anti-corrosion, paint quality control,...)

Availability to travel for customer home launches mainly EUROPE (approximately 50-60% of the time)

Requirements :

• Industrial and automatic electronics engineering, electronics, telecommunications.
• Higher degree Industrial automation and robotics, Electronics, telecommunications
• Languages :
• English spoken and written English
• Spoken (written) French or German will be valued.
• Driving license and own vehicle.
