Mane Energy is seeking an experienced Authorised Technician to support blade inspection operations at the Baltic Eagle Offshore Wind Farm (Germany). You will take control of turbine towers, establish required isolations, and ensure safety systems of work are maintained throughout external and internal blade inspections.

The role requires offshore work, strong turbine safety focus, and collaboration with the inspection team.

Qualifikationen

AUTHORISED TECHNICIAN - OFFSHORE WIND

Location: Offshore Wind Farm, NEU Mukran, Germany

Turbine: Vestas MVOW V174 - 9.53 MW

Start: AS soon as Possible

Current project end date: Approximately 21 October, with potential extension to December

Rotation: Maximum 14-day rotation

Rate: £600 per offshore working day

Standby: £400 per day

Accommodation: Self-catering 2-person house , Germany

ROLE OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking an experienced Authorised Technician to support blade inspection operations on the Baltic Eagle Offshore Wind Farm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking control of the turbine tower and ensuring the required isolation's and safe systems of work are established and maintained throughout inspection activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take control of the turbine tower during inspection operations.
• Establish and remove required isolation's.
• Yaw the turbine and position blades as required for inspection activities.
• Ensure safe systems of work are maintained during both external and internal blade inspections.
• Maintain overall turbine safety throughout the inspection operation.
• Work closely with the inspection team and our client's supervision team.
• Ensure all required safety procedures and authorisations are followed.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 year's wind industry experience, ideally with Vestas turbines.
• Experience working in an Authorised Technician / turbine safety role.
• Full GWO certification.
• Current Working at Heights (WAH) annual refresher suitable for Germany.
• Chester Step certification.
• Vestas WTSR certification - to be confirmed.
• Strong understanding of turbine isolations and safe systems of work.
• Ability to work offshore and as part of a structured inspection team.
• Right to work in Germany with sufficient EU working days remaining to complete the campaign.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• 12-hour shifts, with approximately 7 hours of productive work per day.
• Some working days may extend to 10-12 hours depending on operational requirements.
• No planned overtime.
• Maximum 14-day rotation.
• Accommodation provided in a self-catering 2-person house .
• Weather/standby rate: £400 per day against a £600 offshore working-day rate.

MOBILISATION

Candidates will undergo CV review and a telephone discussion. Final approval will be made by the Project Manager. The successful candidate can mobilise as soon as the required client induction has been completed and all certifications have been verified.
