Role: Audio Visual Technician (m/f/d)

YOUR CHALLENGE

As an Audio Visual Technician / AV Technician (m/f/d), you will be involved in video production, post-production, studio work, and live directing for streamed events at coliquio. The role offers a hybrid working model: from a home office in Germany and at our locations in Munich. The position requires coming to the office several days a week and accommodating flexible work hours.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various projects, including interviews, documentaries, and event coverage.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support for live streaming, including setup, operation, troubleshooting.
• Live Directing: Use broadcast mixers, media key/fill software, and streaming platforms to direct live events.
• Collaboration: Work with the editorial team to develop ideas and execute projects; coordinate with departments to meet content needs.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and organize video production equipment.
• Quality Control: Ensure content meets standards for framing, lighting, sound, and editing.
• Documentation: Use project management tools to track projects and document technical issues and resolutions.
• Guidance: Provide technical guidance to staff.

Working hours: Vary depending on projects, including evenings, weekends, and travel for offsite productions.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Educational background in media production, broadcasting, graphic design, or related fields preferred; relevant experience/training considered.
• Proficiency with audiovisual equipment, troubleshooting, cameras, lighting, microphones, broadcast mixers (familiarity with Roland VR-120HD, Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme ISO a plus).
• Editing skills with Apple Final Cut Pro and Apple Motion preferred; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign a plus.
• Strong storytelling, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills in German (C1) and English (B2).
• Organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
