• Fluent in English and Turkish, knowledge of other European languages is a plus.

We are seeking for our Shared Service Center for the next possible date an Associate Tax and Tax Compliance (m/f/d) - focus Turkey, a position at KWS Berlin GmbH in Berlin. The Associate Tax and Tax Compliance executes tax tasks regarding the finance function. Working together with the Tax Compliance Experts, the Associate books international taxes and adheres to international guidelines (RGP's). You monitor international changes and actively pursue new insights while following standard tax regulations internally and ensuring compliance with set processes. This position is unlimited and in full-time.

Your Tasks:

1. Support in process tax/admin adjustments for local and corporate taxes
2. Calculate and post tax accruals for closing provision and accrual accounting
3. Process local taxes including VAT, Intrastat, EC Sales, property taxation, corporate income taxation, recapitulative statement, road/toll/fee/sales taxation, and other local taxes
4. Support tax-related reporting projects and tax audits

Your Profile:

1. Preferably an academic degree in Business Administration
2. Primary professional experience in the field of Tax and Compliance; GL experience can be relevant too
3. Fluent in English and Turkish; knowledge of other European languages is an advantage
4. Knowledge of VAT compliance, Intrastat & VAT reporting, and other local taxes
5. Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage high-volume transactions
6. Strong communication and analytical skills with a hands-on and cooperative mentality
7. Customer orientation and an extraordinary service attitude
