Summary:

The Associate Supply Chain Manager Europe manages demand planning and customer supply chain primarily for the EU market. They deliver a high-quality 24-month forecast, manage the demand review process, coordinate production with plants, oversee shipments, and manage the HBP team to meet service KPIs. They also support distributors through the EUDR transition and lead joint-value-creation projects to optimize supply chain flows and costs.


Major Duties/Responsibilities:

Summary of major duties:

  • Delivery of Gross Sales (GS): Monthly, quarterly, and FY GS in line with plans and targets; coordinate with HBP team for order planning and invoicing; provide clear GS updates; ensure production OTIF; manage stock checks and container plans; inform distributors of stock movements; target OTD and CFR.
  • Forecast & DOS Management: Develop accurate demand forecasts using external data and internal insights; lead monthly demand consensus; maintain 24-month forecast in APO; manage external co-manufacturer forecasts; improve planning tools; support strategic planning; monitor DOS, WMAPE, and Bias for key distributors.
  • Distributor Management: Collaborate with distributors to set optimal inventory levels; respect replenishment metrics; ensure effective communication; drive improvement projects in forecasting and inventory management.
  • NPD & Seasonal Support: Support development and launch of NPDs; input operational data; set up new item forecasts.
  • DDD and Stock Management: Approve packaging/raw material write-offs; monitor aging reports; collaborate on stock reduction or liquidation strategies.
  • Business Analysis and Insights: Automate reporting; analyze sales data and forecast accuracy; support demand meetings with insights; explain forecast performance.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields preferred; Master’s or certifications like APICS are a plus.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in supply chain roles.
